This is a very dry bus from Utah Engine was replace / upgraded to a used type 4 2 0L which seems to run well and have good power. The tires, carburetor and fuel lines have been replaced. The paint is almost completely original as far as I can tell. A repair panel was welded in for the lower rocker, and paint does not match there. Very original RHD UK 1971 Variant / Squareback. Bought it early last autumn and was delighted with it but a change at work and the loss of a rented garage mean that my plan to use it as a daily driver just isn't practical anymore
Paint is about 80% original (front wings have been replaced) interior is original although the drivers seat has very heavy wear and needs sorting unless you're a major fan of extreme seat patina!

Here for sale is my late 49 early 50 split window beetle Imported from Sweden in 1996 I??ve spent time stripping grey primer and red oxide from the car to reveal the original L51 bordeux red paint below.
