VW Scirocco mk2 GT2 barn find (sort of!)
Found this car a few years ago with the intention of getting it back on the road but have come to the realisation that I just don't have the time to finish it so decided to sell it on
Car has V5 in my name
When we found it we serviced it including Cambelt and got the car running nicely. Drove ok but would not need to have brakes etc checked again as its been a while

VW T25 Syncro 1600 Turbo Diesel PROJECT or for parts
Currently not running. Suspect diesel injector pump problem but comes with a second hand replacement pump (not tested)
Needs lots of welding but chassis structure is solid
Has all parts included plus a second hand door

I bought it in 2021 as a light project and drove it to the lakes from Devon. Week later gearbox started slipping on the 3rd gear Gearbox was removed and sent for full rebuild, as the waiting time was long I decided to take the engine out and tidy up the engine bay etc this is where it all stopped, never had a time to come back to the van it's been stood like that since,

It's a 1973 imported from South Africa in 2016. RHD, 2 litre air-cooled engine
Just returned from back-to-bare-metal bodywork renovation (gutters and sills mainly). Finished in VW Pastel White all over (VW Code L90D)
Interior clearly needs finishing - on the plus side all the body is available for inspection
Likewise underside has not been undersealed so you can see exactly what you are getting.
Mechanically generally good - clutch seems like it needs attention, though. ... more
