1971 VW Beetle Non runner, engine turns but battery is dead . Did try to jump it but wouldn't start, could be starter. Front drivers side wheel is seized, will need to be trailered away

I bought it in 2021 as a light project and drove it to the lakes from Devon. Week later gearbox started slipping on the 3rd gear Gearbox was removed and sent for full rebuild, as the waiting time was long I decided to take the engine out and tidy up the engine bay etc this is where it all stopped, never had a time to come back to the van it's been stood like that since,

This is a very special little car that was designed by a ex lotus engineer in the early 70's. The chassis is of a tubular space frame type and the body work is GRP. The bonnet was designed from a Lotus 23 and adapted slightly to make the head lights a little higher. The front suspension is early Triumph, Herald etc. The engine is from a VW type 3 and a VW gearbox.
